The Red Bull Butter Cup - Whistler

I was lucky enough to be asked by Red Bull to photograph their snowboarding competition; the Red Bull Butter Cup. Inspired by skateboarding, buttering is all about the silky smooth slides over boxes and rails. But nothing stopped the guys and girls from cracking out some big moves off the spine. The first day on the BC leg of this competition was held up in Whistler with the second down at Cypress Mountain. I had the best time covering the comps, coming from a skateboarding background I felt at home in the snowboarding world. So more boarding photos to come in the future! Enjoy :)

Brigid and Paul - A Wedding in Tuscany

Being a photographer has its perks. Early last year I got a call up from my good buddy Jeremy Beasley. Jeremy is one of Australia's most talented wedding photographers going around. He had just been booked to shoot a wedding in Tuscany, Italy and called me up to ask if I wanted to be the second photographer. I didn't have to think it over for too long, who could resist the opportunity to shoot a wedding in one of the most beautiful places on earth. With the landscape consisting of endless rolling hills, lush wild meadows, vineyard after vineyard producing delicious wine, olive and cypress trees dotted amongst hilltop villages bathed in soft amber light. Now that's my idea of heaven!

Brigid and Paul were the lovely couple getting married, surrounded by close friends and family from Australia and around the world. The ceremony was being held in Piazza del Campo in Siena with the reception a short drive out of town at a beautiful country side villa. The perfect setting to what was going to be an unforgettable day!

Congratulations to Brigid and Paul and a big thanks to Jeremy for the call up. I hope y'all enjoy the pictures :)
