Well I finally got round to processing the images from a week in Perth over the 2008/09 New Years break. Had an unbelievably good time catching up with my brother and his girlfriend and hanging out with my two mates milew and t. The city was relatively small but friendly, modern but with a laid back feel. I liked it, trouble is it feels so far away from the rest of aus, a bit detached. The beer was sensational though, definitely worth heading back for!

Gday and welcome to the blog of young Australian photographer Dale Tidy. I grew up in Canberra in the ACT and have been serious about photography for a couple of years now. It all began back in 2007 when I purchased my first camera and travelled around Europe and Egypt for 5 months mostly solo. I realised how much joy it gave me to create something out of nothing which I could express myself though. These days I am still madly keen to travel taking images throughout the world living my dream. I have future aspirations to get into photojournalism for the print media. dt.
